Background 

 

In 1948, the inaugural motocross off-road motorcycle race took place in a stadium in Paris. The fame of motocross racing increased in the United States during the late 1960s, so Mr. Bill France, an American businessman and racing driver, including the motocross race in Daytona Bike Week in 1971. The AMA Motocross races are sponsored by many promoters, but Monster Energy has served as their title sponsor since 2008.

SuperMotocross Race format and schedule 2023

 

The 2023 Supermotocross season will start in January and run through October. Each race is split into three classes: the 450cc class, the 250-west class, and the 250-east class. All 17 Supercross races will be held in the 450cc class, with nine races in the 250cc west and nine races in the 250cc east. Racers use Yamaha, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, Honda, KTM, and Suzuki bikes in these classifications. The 450cc Class Champion is regarded as the most prestigious among all of these classifications.

 

About Track

SuperMotocross courses are created in sports stadiums and are shorter than regular racetracks. These dirt tracks have tremendous curves, leaps, step-ups, and downs. These challenges make the race more thrilling for fans.
