The NASCAR Cup Series' upcoming race, the United Rentals Work United 500, will take place at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, on March 12, 2023. It will be the 4th race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series schedule and consist of more than 312 laps that go around the one-mile (1.6 km) oval track. The Phoenix Raceway is a purpose-built race track that spans a distance of one mile (1.6 kilometers) and enables drivers to attain tremendous speeds. This, in conjunction with the close racing and drafting that occurs during the race, makes for an entertaining show for spectators. The International Speedway Corporation is the proprietor of the Phoenix Raceway (ISC).

Background

Under the moniker Subway Fresh 500, the inaugural event was held in 2005. According to its sponsors, it has gone under various names since then. The most recent name was Instacart 500, but in 2022, it was changed.

It is now called the Rouff Mortgage 500 because it is sponsored by Ruoff Mortgage, an Indiana-based company that helps people get home loans. American professional race driver Chase Briscoe won the final competition, which took place in 2022.
