Firestone Grand Prix of Alabama Indy NXT Live Online

The Indy NXT by Firestone Grand Prix of Alabama is an annual open-wheel racing event that takes place at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama from 29-30 April 2023. It is part of the IndyCar Series and serves as the supporting race on the schedule.

The race first took place in 2010 and has since become a popular event in the southern United States. The Barber Motorsports Park is a 2.3-mile, 17-turn road course that presents a unique challenge to drivers. The track includes dramatic elevation changes and several technical sections that require precision driving.

Firestone is the title sponsor of the race and provides the tires for all IndyCar teams. The company has a long history in open-wheel racing and has been the sole tire supplier for the IndyCar Series since 1996.

Past winners of the Indy NXT by Firestone Grand Prix of Alabama include Linus Lundquist, David Maulkas, and Patricio O’wards.
