From 8-10 March 2024
One of the most spectacular events on the MotoGP™ calendar, the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar, or Qatar MotoGP, will take place from March 8–10, 2024, at Losail International Circuit, which is situated outside the city of Lusail, north of Doha, Qatar.
In 2004, the track hosted the first race of the Grand Prix of Qatar, and the winner was Sete Gibernau. Qatar staged the first floodlit Grand Prix in the history of the MotoGP World Championship in 2008. Since 2007, Qatar has hosted the opening race on the GP schedule; however, due to circuit renovations, the race was moved to the end of the year in 2023.
