Adverse weather conditions in the Emilia Romagna region have led to the cancellation of the Grand Prix, as confirmed by Formula One on Wednesday.
The 2023 F1 season's round-six race at Imola has been canceled because of the risk of more downpours and flooding in the area.
With continuous rainfall in the area, the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit, located in northern Italy, was emptied on Tuesday as the Santerno River's water level began to increase. The teams and media were instructed to avoid the area on Wednesday.
